Yay for saiteks! We got our keyboards and icemats the other day, and i’m just loving it! My dude is very happy that my typing finally went silent, he’s been going nuts about my KNAPRKNAPRKNAPR
Here are the beauties:

 Oh, i’ve finished another FBS a while ago! It’s a “little” bit smaller than the first one I made. Gonna send this one to my mom one of these days (she saw the shawl my aunt/her lil’ sis had gotten and got jealous
)

Knitted in Drops Alpaca on 4.5mm needles.
I stumbled into this site ‘Oktoberrosa‘ on my late evening “panicsurfaroundbeforebedtime”. It’s a bunch of hobbyenthusiasts crafting various items, and then auctioning them at QXL.no from mid October. All of the income will go to supporting Kreftforeningen og Foreningen for brystkreftopererte (Norwegian cancerorganisation). I’m sad to say that I’m not participating in this great initiative, but i sure hope they’ll get a nice chunk of cash in. These girls&women are donating their time and materials to do this, and hopefully ppl will be willing to see the good in their deed and give some extra =)

It ‘only’ took me 3 full evenings to finish this lil’ fella, and you think I should get a life huh?

Crocheted on size 9 steelhook and some funky cottonyarnthreadthingy.

WEEEH! I’ve finished The Poncho! I’m ecstatic! It feels great to have it done, and i’ve learned a few things during this process aswell! Take a look at this pic right here! What are we looking at? Well, it’s an assemblystitch i learned, called Mattress Stitch (how to). It’s practically invisible.

IMO you can only see the seam by the colordifference from the two sides.
Warning: Loads of Pic-Tars! Mwahaha I’m so full of it!

Appearantly the blogging is suffering a bit after i got that job i mentioned
I’m working almsot fulltime in September, but I’m not sure yet what will happen further down the road. I’ve almost finished all the Tunision Crochet squares for July and August, and the poncho is progressing nicely aswell. Only have the patternborder left on the second half, then i’ll ship it off to Tone in Norway! Oh, me & my d00d went out and got us a new hobby! We’re building a modelchopper together, I do most of the painting and he does the cutting and glueing.
The paprikas are growing real nicely aswell, but my cam sux so hard with bad light (evening here now), so i’m not posting any pics of them now. Remind me tomorrow

First part is finished, the other one (on top) is only lacking the border

Some of the modelchopperparts, painted and hanging to dry (YES! That really IS a toothpick they’re hanging on!)
I’ve been wanting to blog my paprikaplants for a good while now, actually entire summer :D My dude was giggling at me this morning saying I’ll never remember them, so here it goes! They are blooming alot nowadays, and I’m sexing* them ^^ They say that it’s really only necessary to shake them flowers a little, but one can never be too sure eh? Have a look at this tiiiiiny itzy bitzy paprika! Isn’t it cute? I’ve counted four of those, and I really hope they dont start falling off.

*sexing in this case would be transferring pollen from flower to flower with a paintbrush aka bumblebeewannabeÂ
We’re off to a cabin with some friends today, gonna BBQ and play some cards. I’m not sure if we’re staying the night tho, I think it would be nice to be away a little. Toodles!
